Interactive Educational
Multimedia
Interactive Educational Multimedia is a journal for dialogue and reflection
about the application of multimedia technologies in education. The publication
is open to all who wish to propose articles on this subject. The site publishes
articles related to research into the educational aspects of multimedia technologies
in all its facets: implementation and design of materials, teaching and learning,
experiences, etc. The journal is published biannually, although extra issues
may appear and/or monographs without a fixed frequency. The journal is published
in English although the articles may appear in their original languages as well.
The journal publishes three different types of articles:
Peer Review Articles: articles that have passed the evaluation carried out by
a group of experts.
Guest Articles: articles approved by the editorial board of the journal.
Reviews: short articles about books, software or Web sites.
This journal originated as a result of the intellectual work of the Multimedia
Teaching and Learning Research Group GREAM, part of the Sciences of Education
Institute at Barcelona University, together with the Network for Educational
Multimedia.

KAIROS: A Journal
of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy
Kairos is an electronic journal designed to serve as a peer-reviewed resource
for teachers, researchers, and tutors of writing, including such areas as composition
studies, rhetoric, technical and professional writing, creative writing, and
literary studies.
The goal of Kairos is to offer a progressive and innovative online forum for
the exploration of writing, learning, and teaching in hypertextual environments
like the World-Wide Web. At the same time, they hope to balance between the
cutting edge of the Web and the traditional academic need for juried publications
will help electronic scholarship earn a stronger and more valued place in the

States Distance Learning Association Journal
This publication, begun in 1987 as Ed at a Distance Magazine/Ed Journal, was
the first academic, peer reviewed, national journal dedicated solely to Distance
Learning. USDLA Journal (ISSN 1537-5080) transited from a monthly hardcopy publication
to a monthly online publication, 1998-99. The journal is dedicated to dissemination
of ongoing Distance Learning research, praxis and information/assessment of
Distance Learning technologies in all areas of learning and training both in
the United States and internationally. The Journal also focuses on legislation,
state and national, that affects Distance Learning.
