Our
Mission at the Teaching,
Learning Technology Center is to further the field of education
by providing access to the most current knowledge and best
practices in online education, by providing tools and resources
for educators and by encouraging discussion among active
practitioners.
|
| |
Integrate:
Blackboard into teaching by accessing
our online tutorials |
| Our Blackboard tutorials are designed to compliment
our traditional face-to-face workshops in which various Blackboard
tools are explored. Each section contains written material
and video that provides the user with a self-paced learning
experience. |
| |
Discover:
Pedagogy and Online Learning |
| This section provides users with an introduction
to learning theories and their application in online learning.
Designed on constructivist principles, it allows you to explore
your own theoretical and practical interests, and perhaps
discover some new ones. |
| |
Communicate:
With other educators in the
Seton Hall community |
| The community section is designed to elicit
collaboration and discussion--to promote the development of
a professional community of practice. Here you can locate
and publish case studies, discuss cutting-edge issues, and
keep posted on other opportunities for professional involvement. |
| |
Explore:
Resoures for educators |
| Our resources area provides screened and annotated
links to tutorials, online magazines, and other web resources
pertinent to online instruction. In addition, you will find
sample courses and syllabi, graphics and other resources specifically
designed for education. |
