About

Instructional Designer . Educator . Artist . Student

Currently, I work as an Instructional Designer at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, assisting faculty in integrating instructional technologies into their classroom.  In addition, I provide faculty training in various teaching methods from a theoretical and practical perspective and support a number of student technology initiatives. Previous to coming to Seton Hall in 2003, I worked in the health care industry for a number of years in various training capacities ranging from clinical student and staff training to technologies and professional staff development.

I am finishing my Ed.M. at Teachers College at Columbia University in Instructional Technology and Media. My particular academic interests include alternative learning spaces, collaborative learning communities, visual literacy, and the use of virtual worlds in education.  I have a Masters Degree in Adult Education/Instructional Media from Seton Hall and certificates in Advanced Web Design/Web Graphics from Rutgers University.
