‘I am not a teacher; only a fellow traveler of whom you asked the way.
I pointed ahead, ahead of myself as well as of you.’

~ George Bernard Shaw

Much of what I do professionally is grounded in the personal belief that the challenge in front of us as educators is to prepare our students for a world that we can’t even begin to imagine. The recent changes in the economy, unrest and piracy in parts of the world have only given us a small taste of what they will face. Most of us would agree, our students will need to be problem solvers, innovators and consumers of technology in the global community. To obtain these skills however, we need to think differently about what occurs in the classroom. A shift needs to be made from content acquisition to creative ways of thinking to solve real world problems.
